Arianna Mainardi is senior assistant professor in Sociology of Cultural and Communicative Processes at the Department of Humanities, Philosophy and Communication of the University of Bergamo. Her research interests include digital cultures, sex&tech, bodies and gender relations. Among her publications: Digital Girls. Le ragazze e la ridefinizione dei rapporti di genere online e offline, ETS 2022; Digital fissures: bodies, genders, technologies, Brill, 2023, (with C. Cossutta, V. Greco, S.
