Federica Buongiorno

Federica Buongiorno is a researcher at the Department of Literature and Philosophy at the University of Florence, where she teaches Theoretical Philosophy, Phenomenology of Technology, and Gender Theory and Critical Studies. Her research interests include Husserlian and post-Husserlian phenomenology, the philosophy of technology (with a particular focus on issues related to the embodiment of digital contexts and critical studies of AI and algorithmic thinking), Freudian and Jungian psychoanalysis, and cyberfeminism. She edits the international philosophy journal Azimuth and the philosophy series Umweg, and translates from German into Italian. Her most recent publication is the monograph Iperindividualità. L’individuazione nel presente tecnologico (Meltemi 2025).
